I first became a reader when I was a teenager. Yes, I discovered Twilight and became addicted – Team Edward forever! But with school and friends starting to take up more of my time, I fell away from reading. That is, until about a decade and a half later, when I discovered Booktok and ACOTAR.

After reading A Court of Thorns and Roses, I was sucked right back into reading. And I know how much of a cliché I am. Twilight as a teen, ACOTAR as an adult. That’s the stereotypical origin story for many readers – but I am not ashamed! And no matter what your origin story is and no matter what you love to read (even if it’s faerie smut), you should never feel ashamed either!
